What is your favorite place you've ever traveled?

My favorite places are always the ones with earned views—an overlook I have to climb a rock face to see, a swimming hole I have to descend a gorge to jump in, or a waterfall I eventually find at the end of a nearly-indiscernible trail. The thing about these kinds of places is that they’re always an adventure to get to, and if I’m honest, that’s what I’m really after when I go places—adventure. So whether it’s Bassin Bleu in Haiti, Red River George in Kentucky, or one of the many climbing crags here in Tennessee, as long as I’m earning those beautiful views alongside great friends, I’m in my favorite place of all.
